A passer would help immensely. But we ignore the middle of the pitch anyway. I hope it would be as simple as better players and we'll be better but the plans on the pitch at the moment are so bland and predictable. A better passer isn't really going to change that

I would love if Frank could change. He's too risk averse. He's so scared by what the other team could do. We should be setting up to dominate most teams in the league. I'd also love to see something other than spamming crosses too. It's just so shit to watch

I would be 100% on board with a long term build if the manager chosen had a footballing philosophy that builds on the first 2 years of the build. He doesn't so we've wasted another 2 years in order to start again.

Stupid, infuriating, glorious club. The rebuild was starting with Ange, playing that kind of progressive style, players bought for the club, not necessarily the manager. Managers to follow in that style and then we throw all that away immediately and go back to Jose/nuno/conte boring ball. Stupid

The second half yesterday was so much better. We barely did any defending because we controlled the ball and the territory. However, we still create nothing. There are no rotations, no patterns that get us into dangerous positions. The players are good enough to score plenty of goals.

Also, football is entertainment, so yeah, having fun is part of it. We are losing anyway, a bit of fun would probably make this a whole lot easier for fans. Coaching boring football that doesn't excite fans is not a recipe for success.

The culture was at an all time high and didn't need changing. The squad is on year 3 of the rebuild, we just need to keep adding players that can pass. We hired a manager that was the complete opposite of what we were building for over the past 2 years. So we've thrown that out the window.

Adaptable to what? We have been bad and are getting worse. We are unable to progress the ball, there are no attacking patterns, we create nothing. We have good players and all we do is sit inside our box and invite pressure. I don't see anything we do that is hope inducing.

If we hired someone with a similar philosophy to the rebuild we were already on, then I would understand that but I would hate to buy Frank specific players and go deeper and deeper into this when we haven't seen a single thing to give us hope for long term success.

The frustration this season has nothing to do with people expecting to be competing for top 4. The rage is coming from the fact that the football we are being forced to watch fucking sucks. Frank has made us worse in every single fucking way.
