One of my favorite bits of developing Merrin was that when I conquered tanking anxiety it was because of Kirishima from MHA. The scene where he and Fatgum fight Rappa got me to give tanking another go. So I wrote in her story becoming a Dark Knight specifically to protect others.

So I have had this conflict with Merrin, where I like Raen over Xaela but I love the Xaela lore. So after diving deep I finally found the Malaguld tribe which takes in Raen. So with some ret-con I can have a Raen Merrin, with Steppe ties.

Updated my Dancer glamour, since my head canon for Merrin is she became a dancer after leaving the step to earn Gil I always treat Dancer as one of her main DPS jobs.
