As leaders in the labor movement, our UNITE HERE union contracts empower us to fight workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We’ll always stand united against attacks on our rights as queer individuals. Together, we cannot be defeated.

“It came out well in the end, we got a fair contract,” said Austin Petruzziello, a Fenway vendor. “It's not just about the higher wages, it's about the respect as well. We now have staffing mandates & stable schedules so no one's getting overworked like they were before.”

It’s unacceptable that a corporation can pay their CEO 6,666x what the average worker is paid, while those same workers need food assistance to make ends meet.

Starbucks @sbworkersunited.org baristas deserve better. We stand with them in their fight for a fair contract.
"Between low wages and insufficient hours, many baristas are barely getting by. Some are relying on SNAP or Medicaid to help make ends meet while a multibillion-dollar company profits off our labor."

Congratulations to the more than 1,000 Fenway Park workers who won strong wage increases and vital job protections against AI and automation through their new union contract.

These workers make Fenway special. I'm delighted they are finally receiving the respect they deserve.
After a year of negotiations, more than 1,000 concession workers at Fenway Park and the neighboring MGM Music Hall secured a new union contract that supporters say provides better wages, clearer staffing protocols, and stronger job protections against automation, such as self-checkout machines.
