3. Shane and Ilya use grounding techniques!!! When Shane is stressed he puts his hand on his head/scritches his scalp. When Shane wants to comfort Ilya he literally sits on him like a weighted blanket. They cant use the communication through touch and as someone ND that makes me feel SO seen 5/?

I was wondering why HR hit me so hard and I think i know why now Shane Hollander is the greatest representation of ND in media and his relationship with Ilya breaks more boundaries for neurodiverse people than any "parenting tv show where the child has tism" 2/?
