i also cant stand going into situations blind so ive read up on our provincial tenant law a few times gkdhjfkgkdk it is annoying that i cant just tell them to remove the illegal clauses bc then they can just refuse to rent to me but none of it is enforceable so oh well

it is a liiiiittle worrying to me that they dont seem to what is & isn't allowed or if they do they're trying to take advantage of me but ultimately once i move in i can tell them no & they can't do shit 😊

my realtor is a real one though most agents don't know any tenant law but hes going out of his way to make sure i know i cant be forced to pay for repairs even though its in the lease. love u zach 🫶
