This is my green anole friend. He lives on the outdoor garbage can where he eats all the flies he can catch, but also chills amiably on the nearby rose bush when I need to take out the trash.

Had the honor of attending Mona Lee’s celebration of life this evening. Mona was a fixture in the Austin acting scene for decades. She was the mom in Legend of Billie Jean & Dazed and Confused but her legacy might be as teacher. Linklater studied acting with her to learn how to work with actors.

Trying to new thing to say happy birthday to this former moppet, it has been an absolute privilege to be their parent for 18 years.
