I think your chat settings are restricted so you might have to DM me first. :X

I would *love* to get one of these! And some of your other comms too, if they're available. Can you send me a DM if they're still available? :3

Lastly (for now!), unlike ruminants, camelids don't actually have hooves!

Instead they have two distinct toes with toenails. Camels use this to maintain a larger surface area on sand while llamas and alpacas can adjust their toe pads to maintain grip on rocky terrain.

Also like ruminants, camelids have horizontal pupils!
However, unlike ruminants, camelids have corpora nigra (i.e. iridic granules), a series of folds and ridges along their iris that act like a natural sunshade.

They look kinda weird in detail, so google at your own risk. 👁️👁️

Now for some anatomy facts!
Ruminants (deer, cows, goats) and camelids (camels, llamas, alpacas) look they have an underbite but they actually don't.
They simply don't have a top set of teeth.😐
Instead, they have a dental pad that acts a bit like a thumb, making it easier to grab and tear grass.

How to tell the difference between llamas and alpacas (2/2):
- Llamas have long, curved ears that look a bit like bananas.
- Alpacas have shorter, straight ears that look like spear points.
- Llama fleece stops at their jawlines, while alpaca fleece continues onto their cheeks and foreheads.

If it helps, that color/font combination was the default in Microsoft Outlook during that time period.
The other emails include a modified "Sent from iPhone" signature so they were likely sent from mobile instead of desktop.
