Birds, dogs, fun facts, procrastination, art and a nasty habit of inserting myself into political discussions when people are being baselessly cruel.

"Be excellent to each other" - Bill
We all know FIFA have some dubious relationship with Trump after that embarrassing peace trophy they invented for him.

This is money politics. And together they and Trump have already seen the world cup as the holy grail of wealth acceleration

"‘So you say, during the war, you can’t have elections,’ Trump responded. ‘Say, three and a half years from now — so you mean, if we happen to be in a war with somebody, no more elections.’"

Why Trump’s ‘joke’ about postponing the 2028 elections really wasn’t funny
Given the president’s record, when he jokes about postponing the 2028 elections, it's awfully tough to laugh.

No one else seems to be stressing the MISSING part. As in they are ALL missing. I have been trawling everything in search of answers and I still have mostly gaps:

Major wars hinge on the resilience and patriotism of the people. Especially if it gets to the point of drafting.

Optimism and unity of the people, all in it together, is the only thing that gets a country through when it looks bleak. Because every individual plays a part, one way or another

That's my worst nightmare hearing my own voice. But also that's SUCH a good thing to do regardless of reasons, you probably speak better than most people.

Hope you didn't find my comments patronising I'm not trans I was just musing some thoughts on how we end up speaking like we do.

Oh btw, it was the focus on pitch and people using actual tools to record their voice that concerned me. I'm sure many are young people using the internet to share experiences.

This is how you get dysmorphia. Let's not make voice dysmorphia become a thing.

True that. Kids are like sponges, it's almost unconscious for them to learn to be how they are. As an adult you need to make it a conscious thing and yeah I know there is some nuance to having to work on that whilst trying to be yourself :/

We need to start asking where these children are.

We haven't had any evidence that the children detained this year are being deported OR released. I refuse to stop asking where the children are, so I put this together in the hopes of answers:

You're right. it's a cocktail of lots of subtle little things and these little things completely differ based on the individual.

Importantly to trans folk:

Stop obsessing over pitch. If you're a woman then by definition you're already speaking like a woman. (And vice versa).

For the purpose of this post, we are discussing a targeted anti-Semitic attack. These innocent people have absolutely nothing to do with your political agenda.

You can raise these issues in the appropriate spaces but it's poor taste when we are talking about such a tragic incident.

It really is a lot and I don't want to go into an essay here but if you want to look into who is doing what, and what they actually can do there is (sorry all acronyms for the limit but that's all you need to look them up):
ICJ
ICC
UNSC and UN linked publications
OHCHR
NGOs

It's very complicated, yes he is breaching all sorts of international laws and treaties. The problem is what do we do, and who does it?

There are various international agreements but the US, and trump ensured this, is strategically not participating or immune.

They are toeing the grey area of censorship so it's not obvious. Little restrictions here, throttling content under the guise of "protection", only allowing certain eyes to see some stances.

it's never about the gambling. Or the nudity. Or orientation. It's a larger picture of advanced censorship.

Relatedly, Facebook (I'm only there because the local scuba community is there) started showing me ads for companies selling actual illegal drugs. I reported it and was told it didn't violate TOS. When I posted a screenshot to show ppl, I got a strike on my account for promoting illegal sales.

Join the club!

I've had much worse than that. Illegal stuff. Stuff I don't even want to write out it's that bad. I started evidencing the (censored) content, my reports, their response insisting it didn't violate TOS, then my requests for review.

Then I went to Reddit...

I used that one on FB a few times thinking I was so hilarious. Not even a nibble!

Thanks, I finally got that laugh 😂 and also, because I do think he resembles a foreskin.

And 2: we really need to accept that advanced AI is just inevitable, it's it is going to become so integrated and make everything extremely efficient. It's like trying to resist the internet when it came out. However, concerns over job loss etc. is very real. Which is why we need to be talking now
December 15, 2025 at 1:24 PM
1: made AI suddenly become "real" in people's minds because it resembles what people understand AI as from media (talking androids etc.) which can be scary if you only have that education to go on. And
December 15, 2025 at 1:21 PM
You can't opt out of AI. We need to educate people on it and break it down. The recent hype is specifically generative AI. Super advanced language models and digital creation, meaning AI is now able to produce its own content. This has:
