US Market Watch video indicates that 🇨🇦Canadians are reducing ‘Merican travel as a long term consequence of TRump’s tariffs and rhetoric affecting Canada. They further suggest that in the long term every $1 tariff ‘Merica collects results in $7 loss in Canadian tourism spending. Suck on that TRump!

🇨🇦Canada doesn’t have a TACO but do we have a FACO? It seems $23 million buys shelf space for Crown Royal in Ontario again but the bottling plant is still closed and 200 employees are still without their job. If true; just some superb(?) negotiating by Ontario’s Premier Ford

More and more names are starting to tumble out of the TRump-Epstein files but not enough yet. A whole bunch of humbling, shame, personal economic loss and criminal charges should tumble out too. Let the mighty fall and we should cheer as they do! Support the victims not the criminals.

While reading and listening to the silliness of TRump and his ambassador to 🇨🇦Canada I’m truly hoping the do not renegotiate the Canada/Mexico/‘Merica trade deal. It should put the final nail in both their political coffins.

The Toronto-Sun claims the cost of building new homes in 🇨🇦Canada is too high. I’m not a fan of this news company but I agree with them on this. Changes must happen that include regulations, bylaws, NIMBY attitudes and financing. And… a major component to change this is Manufactured Housing.

I’ve heard, on very good authority (Facebook) that party balloon sales in ‘Merica will be declared illegal now that they’re being used by Cartels for surveillance at the El Paso airport. Whew, who woulda figured party balloons were so dangerous to ‘Merica’s security? You just can’t make this 💩 up!

Samples of popular common dry dog foods are shown to contain dangerous levels of heavy metals, plastic contaminants and a cancer-causing compound. So I guess they aren’t a particularly good for dogs ….. or munchies for people. Gotta love the dog food industry!

It looks like Junior Kennedy is totally living up to his advanced billing as TRump’s health wizard - - now less than half of adult ‘Mericans trust the Centre for Disease Control for information on vaccines. But on the bright side apparently ivermectin (animal worm pills) now cures everything 🤣

In southern 🇨🇦Alberta is building a facility to take manure from local cattle feedlots, using a natural microbe process, to produce enough natural gas to heat 4,000 local homes in nearby Coaldale. The CO2 bi-product will be permanently buried in a 1.5 kilometre deep well.

I saw a news article referring to the ultra-rich as ‘Epstein Class’. I’m not sure that’s a fair term to be applied to all of them. Maybe not even some of them. But as hidden files are slowly made public one has to wonder.

Just read a CNN headline “over 70% of tested baby foods are ultra processed and full of additives”. When our daughter arrived the only foods we bought for her were formula, pablum and baby cookies. We made all the rest ourselves from real food. She’s 43 now and still thriving. Are parents dumb now?
