We prefer to have our yaks give birth in spring or early summer. But things don't always go according to plan. Asha gave birth to this feisty little bull six days ago. Note: Asha's lovely coat is a mess right now because her idea of a spa treatment is rolling in mud. #babyanimals #cuteanimals

I can relate to this great horned owl who turned her back on me. I'm trying very hard not to follow my own urge to turn away from humanity. I hope being here can help me find ways to re-engage.
