Rachel has read her poetry and stories on BBC Radio and Book Jive Live and recently featured as Brian Moses’ Guest Poet. She shortlisted for Write Mentor’s Picturebook Competition 2023 and The Cheshire Novel Kids Prize 2025 and longlisted in The Guppy Open Submission 2025.

With drive and motivation to inspire people about nature, Sally has recently become captivated by the world of poetry. She has had children's poems published by The Dirigible Balloon and @thetoypress.bsky.social. Her poetry for adults is due to appear in two anthologies.

After graduating as an artist & following a career devoted to nature conservation, Sally Mills has written/illustrated 3 publications: her debut memoir, Island to Island, and accompanying photograph collection, together with the production of illustrations for a children’s book, Boomy the Bittern.
