My kid has only been in Canada three months, and when I wished them Happy Thanksgiving this morning they responded “oh, that is today…I forgot”.

They were BORN on Thanksgiving day.

Similarly, sharing additional information is not disrespect. If anything, it’s a badge of honor. (My kid has had professors in both undergrad and grad school, in two countries have trouble with that).

I like leggings, and wear them with skirts and dresses. Thin pantyhose or tights…not so much.

And, they’re consenting adults when it comes to sex…but cab’t even read a book with trans people or a same-sex couple in it?
