I’m gonna buy a scythe this year! Fell in love with it as the tool of choice for managing the rapid-growing cane grass in HI. Excited to develop my pastures up here!

Store in a cool, dark place. Some people will use these eggs for up to two years, but our goal is to have plenty to get through the winter!

We crack one at a time into a little ramekin to make sure they’re good — have yet to come across a bad one!

A little more on Water Glassing:

28g pickling lime to 1 liter of water (1oz/quart).

Use super fresh, very clean eggs. Do not wash the eggs or handle them with soiled hands. We collect 4-5 times a day when in storage mode.

A half gallon jar fits 12-16 eggs depending on size.
