Publishing is neither easy nor linear — this year has been proof of that lol — but that’s where I am rn. I’d like to stick around a while longer but we will see!!

In between that I’ve done like 10+ other jobs because I was taught to always hustle, pivot and adapt, and that frankly has helped in the publishing industry.

Told everyone while concussed I was gonna write a book, and everyone was suuuuuper nice lol. Worked at Waterstones, left when I got sicker. Taught myself to write while waiting for endometriosis surgery, & did freelance editing. TLDR, writing my eighth published novel rn.

Worked at Gamestation / Game inbetween field work gigs, got sicker. Took last chance job in London in seafood end of charity sector for a few years. Had total breakdown, realised I was autistic, quit job after a seizure left me concussed for a month.
