Third, I made the shooting feel more impactful in my opinion. Although not yet implemented, I want the player to have ammo that they must manage, so I want each shot to feel more impactful.

Second, I made adjustments to the platforming and added a wall grab mechanic to make it feel better. The landing state could use some work though, cause I think it feels clunky.

First of all. I made a turret that shoots at the player. It was surprisingly pretty complicated to get the turret to move to the player correctly.
