My favorite way to look at it is that it flips right and left because we use our feet to turn in front of the mirror.

If you start with the mirror behind you and casually do a german suplex to face it, up and down are now flipped instead.

How do you go from the first image (Unreal) to the others (Planet Coaster, Cities Skyline)? I'll try to give good answers using only visual examples and without delving into the math behind it.

I'm experimenting with using #unity to make animation to illustrate some ideas about splines. Here you can see the influence of tangent length on the curve.

Rendering is done with @freya.bsky.social's Shapes plugin. I highly recommend you check it out on the asset store.
