Being genuine is far more important to me than empty internet numbers, I’m exhausted by people seeing me as a number instead of who I am.

Maybe I care too much what people think of me, I know it’s standard practice in content creation to develop thick skin… but if I deny myself some of the most visceral parts of being human, how can I relate to people—how can I be the most genuine version of myself?

Making judgements about my character without knowing me. Believing that I’m clout-chasing because I’m friends with other creators.
It just hurts, because people make me out to be someone I’m not.

I’m working on myself, finding where I want to go, trying to find peace in so many unpeaceful situations. It’s okay though, I’ve survived this and so much more. I’ll be okay.

Hence why it's so important to not fall into the trap of cynicism. Because getting out of it takes a massive amount of effort and energy.
