I was blessed to get a great room in the hospital last week - high up with huge windows, gazing out into the west. I spent a lot of time just gazing out into the sky, studying the clouds, watching the hues slowly shift. It was a peaceful reprieve.

Cardiac Constraint

"Enlightened Divides" - Stained Glass Styled Mandala / Geometric Design.

I don't know if this would sell, but I do plan on releasing the lineart as a coloring page. :)
A richly colored, four-point mandala design with a stained glass feel. It has heavy black lines on a dark grey background, and has a mostly square shape with loops around the edges. Patterns alternate between hard/'sharp' edges and soft curved edges. Colors are splashed between a cool, blue-like collection and a warm, red-orange selection, with splashes of pink and purple to harmonize them. There is a sense of dichotomy and melody.

Another done initially for #SciArtSeptember - a study of canopy shyness.

And I just realized I never put the under foliage in, oops.

I love trees, and the way some of them bloom like fractals against the sky is just delightful.

WIP share. This piece started out as just an emotional vent and has transformed itself into something with personal meaning.

I'm looking forward to seeing its final stage.
A four sectioned complex mandala design in progress, lined in heavy and thin black lines. The patterns are varied and abstract and alternate between smooth curves and hard lines. There is color starting from the center and moving outward, in a contrasting palette of cool blues and warm sunset tones constantly balanced against each other, but only about a third of the image has been colored so far.
