This mincemeat matured for over a year. I got two lots of mince pies out of it, and the dregs have been turned into pinwheels with marzipan and flaked almonds. Worth the wait.

It's been an appalling last couple of months. I've spent too much time moping and too much time on social media. Planning to get it all out of my system over the remaining 50-odd hours of the year, then spend 2026 in perpetual craft status.

This was a perfectly cosy way to see out a weekend
Today I bought replacement bronzer, and then I got home and realised it was a tester, and five minutes later my existing bronzer fell out of the medicine cabinet with the rest of my make up and smashed in the sink. The fates can take my artificial sun-kissed look from my cold, bronzed, dead hands.
