Sure, if we plunge into a disastrous global recession -- which we just might!

Trump's in love.

Reposting this from July, just because.

I wondered myself! I kept looking for quotes from you. Memory loss or cowardice from the press? I assumed you were declining to comment, now I'm angry.

Practice in a mirror. And yeah, the first reporter to do it will enrage Trump ... and become a hero. Then take turns and make it routine.

How hard would it be to say, "Excuse me, Mr. President, that comment is offensive. Our colleague asked a legitimate question that deserves a respectful answer." Every member of the White House press corps should be prepared to say something similar when Trump attacks a colleague.

Good to know, thanks!

The commercials make this unwatchable

My son saw a bumper sticker that said "defund Paw Patrol."
November 14, 2025 at 9:02 PM
That's clear. You voted with Trump 50% of the time.

She has children in that age group! (Though tbh it's hard to know the gender of Yates, Yardley and Thatcher.)

It's a tell that he's about to lie, but it also signals (he thinks) that he's about to say something brave and interesting.

When one of my bro-in-laws sent a vague family e-mail a few years ago apologizing for how he had "let down" my sister, all the male relatives were like, "what happened?" Meanwhile, I was thinking, ummm hmmm. And guess who was right.

Yeah, I'm thinking the men replying to this are a just a tad naive.

To be more precise, he probably heard that Lori Lightfoot will teach at Harvard (which is true), but when his scrambled brain tried to recall her name, it came up with an image of the last black woman big-city mayor he fixated on.

He's thinking of Mary Sheffield, the Detroit mayor-elect. He can't remember her name or city.

I'm at a hotel that I assumed would have MSNBC coverage but only has Fox and CNN. If I have to listen to Charlamagne tha God and Ben Shapiro, I will burn this place down! (Meaning, I'll complain mildly in the morning.)
November 5, 2025 at 2:10 AM
I really hate that "Are you ready?" crutch he uses. He thinks he's setting up something brave and counter-intuitive. (Hint: he's not.)

Among the things I love about l.a. is that it happily enjoys its strengths (food, architecture, creativity, diversity, climate) and doesn't care if outsiders don't. Unlike, say, NYC and San Francisco, who are touchy about their status.

This is the look my cat gives me when I've returned after being away.

1) It would be depressing. 2) YouGov and other pollsters do occasionally ask these questions

More proof of the incoherence of many Americans' political views. At the extremes, we see this when a lone-wolf assassin (or would-be assassin) strikes and politicians try to characterize the killer's political views as left or right: there's no there there.

I know that recipe! It may be fine, but for whatever reason this newer recipe for two was perfect. I suspect that the microwave jump-start was key.
