September 2015 had a total lunar eclipse, known as a Blood Moon, coinciding with a Harvest Moon, the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox. It was also a Supermoon, when closest to Earth.

September, 2015 there was a total lunar eclipse, also known as a Blood Moon, that coincided with the Harvest Moon, which is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox. This event was special as it was also a Supermoon, meaning the Moon was at its closest point to Earth. This mixed media artwork emerged from thinking about the movement of the sun, moon, and planets, and their seasonal paths and changes.
