What a wonderful experience today in community with KSU as they kicked off their Georgia Political Speakers Series. Huge thank you to every student and faculty member who joined us today.

I reached out to GA’s Office of the Commissioner of Insurance & Fire Safety, requesting a list of the health insurance carriers who have requested & received approvals for rate increases greater than 10% (policy name, amount of rate increase approved, & # of projected Georgians who’ll be impacted).

Read the letter from 31 members of the GA House & Senate to Gov Kemp requesting corrective action to stop armed troop deployment to Washington D.C. and recall Georgia’s National Guard.

Sending our armed troops to occupy other American cities is wrong.

Read my statement about the recent ICE raid in Georgia…

What will you do when ICE raids your business, your school, your church or your neighborhood—denying your right to due process? This impacts all Georgians. Stand united for the rule of law and protect human rights.

I am reaching out with urgency to update you on the Cobb County School Board’s disturbing proposal to end the public broadcast of community comments during board meetings, allowing the district to broadly block public commentary.

E.B. White said, "I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day." Can relate. Happy birthday writer, E.B. White.

Today we share our deepest condolences and care for Adriana Smith’s family. They are being forced to endure months of suffering and torture as their daughter, Adriana, is being kept alive as an incubator due to Georgia’s extreme abortion ban. We need to enact the Reproductive Freedom Act-now.

Today, I ask GA’s Gov Kemp, Speaker Burns, Lt. Governor Jones, Chancellor Perdue, & the GA Board of Regents to repeal anti-DEI policies, & unite in opposition to all policies to dismantle diversity, equity & inclusion in our schools, businesses, governments, & communities.

Stand with us on the South Steps of the GA Capitol, Wednesday, 3/26, 11:30 AM, as Georgia Democratic leaders and advocates hold a press conference to defend access to the American Dream and call out GOP attacks on diversity, equity and inclusion policies that expand opportunities for all Georgians.

SB28 is named “The Red Tape Rollback Act of 2025” but is really GA’s DOGE act. When GA’s GOP says they are trying to make government efficient, what they really intend to do is make our agencies deficient. They intend to dismantle our agencies in GA just like they are doing in DC.

We need a guarantee that AG Carr is going to dismiss this lawsuit that puts Georgia’s families at risk of losing disability protection and resources.

I have a deep respect for our former President Jimmy Carter as a human being, statesman, humanitarian and a devoted environmentalist. An important part of his legacy is his awareness of the vulnerability of our planet and his actions to protect it. Read my guest column: bit.ly/HonoringPres...

Grateful for Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy to ensure all have equal rights. Committed to the ongoing work of a fair chance to live in a safe home, learn from the best public schools, earn a good living, and have every chance to live a life of love, dignity and respect for another.
