What I don't understand, same as ppl using ChatGPT, is WHY you would make photographic pictures with Bananaschmana instead of taking actual pictures. Leaving the lying aside, why would you? What is the point?

"We're cooked".

Thank you for your very valuable information and opinion. What would we do without you.

You didn't really think about it did you.

Ppl who post shit like this is the real issue for me. Ppl who speak in full stops trigger the fuck out of me. NOT. HELPING.

We had no idea what was happening when photography arrived. Don't be a-historic. Just re-organize. Re-think. ASK SOME FUCKING QUESTIONS.

What really pisses people off is that they WANT pictures to be truth. Because how easy life would be then eh? Absolute truth, no ambiguity. We're not cooked at all, we just can't continue to be this lazy. You can't use ChatGPT on the daily and then be scared about this Banana shit.

These Banana-pics, what is their purpose? We take pictures for a purpose. Only for lying, is that it? Then let's talk about that. Let's talk about manipulation. Photography and images can take care of themselves. Maybe analogue will return more intensely etc.

Reminds me of that reddit poster who wanted prompt inspiration: "I just want to press a button and a song comes out". What the fuck is that? Press play on Soundcloud then you idiot.

It does highlight the already false idea of photography as truth, a discursive wrong we've been living with since the 1800s. However, there is witness in taking images (not all images are photography) where AI-pictures is something else I don't really understand.
