last year, we kept seeing a red bird with black wings flying around our yard, also a yellow bird, up in the trees.. this year they are both back, last night was the first time I saw them together and realized, this is a mated pair. The Scarlett Tanager. never have my camera out, when they show up.

Cannot believe my luck at second hand stores, I have been looking for something to dry my herbs in, found it, still in original packaging... hanging drying basket.. I have oregano and sage in it.. tomorrow I need to harvest basil, pineapple sage, thyme (english & lemon) and tarragon.

Finally got covers for beans and squashes, 1st pic japanese cucumber, japanese eggplant and zucchini, 2nd pic green beans, 3rd pic sweet peas, last is a experiment, took beans from 15 bean soup to see if we could grow them. 8 of them grew..
