I love how @sprainedtootsie.dev did the bathroom in You're a dad. Never thought I'd swoon for a bathroom, but here we are! We're likely entering the updated demo in Steam Next Fest in October. Exciting!

At the end of each day in You're a dad your family pops by for a visit. Serve them dinner! Unless you forget, or get caught in antics. (So happy with the way @sprainedtootsie.dev's art breathes life into the game!) #indiegame #gamedev #screenshotsaturday

Woohoo! You're a dad, my first game, is in #steamvisualnovel fest! There's a demo out too! I'm proud of the game as-is, and it's getting even better with the art @sprainedtootsie.dev is making.

The art @sprainedtootsie.dev is creating for You're a dad make the game come alive! You can find all sorts of (mostly) useful things in the closet. You can also hide in there. Not recommended, but you can. #screenshotsaturday

Something has been locked up in your fridge in You're a dad. It's a big eye. Why is it there? Will it eat your family? Do big eyes have teeth? Does it fit in a ball? Good questions. #screenshotsaturday

Illustration by @sprainedtootsie.bsky.social, who is giving the game a fantastic art overhaul.

When you experience things that feel off in my text adventure the UI starts to crack and fall apart. When you've experienced enough of this dissonance you can unlock one of the more detailed endings that explain why things are the way they are. #screenshotsaturday #textadventure #visualnovel

Billy Basso said somewhere that he built the puzzles in Animal Well in layers. Some are for the casual players, some for the more advanced. I took some inspiration and decided to integrate a more advanced(-ish) #puzzle. This keypad should be fairly hard to open. #textadventure #indiegame

Experimenting with player rewards and narratives in my text adventure. The player goes through endings, and I want each ending to feel valuable. It should unravel a bit about a story arc or just provide reactivity for the next playthrough. Is the reactivity clear with the text highlight here?
