Polymorphic relations + React components = 🚀

In PlanSights, you can now attach files to projects, epics, tasks, and companies.
Polymorphic relationships are great for this! There is only one Attachment model that is used everywhere you can attach a file, and the UI is one reusable React component.

Task Board for plansights.de: Before & After

What do you think? It's not a big new feature or bugfix, but I think it really adds to the personality of the software ✨

would you look at that API client!

Looks like yaak.app/ is a great alternative to tools like Postman!

Local directory sync & git support, environments, variables, functions, request chaining, encryption, ...

And it's free & open source! 🎉

Dear Windows,

The box is literally called "Shut Down Windows".

Why is the "Shut down" option not here?

And why is it sometimes missing and sometimes not?

Please just make the box do what it says, 100% of the time.

Thank you,
Every Windows user, probably

TIL you can create spaces on GitHub Copilot web:

- Create a space on github.com/copilot/spaces
- You can add repositories as context
- Custom instructions

You now have an internal AI assistant for internal packages, with company guidelines, etc..

And they can be shared org-wide!
July 17, 2025 at 4:14 PM
that's wild:

you can assign Copilot to an issue on GitHub, and it will automatically create a PR to solve it.

When it's done, you can review it and leave comments.
Copilot then tries to fix them with new commits to the PR.

Once you're happy, merge it.

Worked great so far! 🔥

we talk about cyber security and how to make things as secure as possible, and then there are people in trains leaving their *unlocked* iPad and phone unattended 🤦‍♂️

Very interesting to see how AI Coding Agents sometimes recover and fix errors the agent itself created, without human intervention.

MCP servers and command line access are a game-changer for AI tools. They have superpowers now! 😄

90% of code will be written by agents, to give developers time back to do the things they really like.
But human developers will always be needed, we as developers have skills agents don‘t.

„It‘s agents for the sake of happiness“

there's a little "you made it to the end" animation at the end of a big PR on GitHub!
I've never noticed that before 😄
