Did you watch The Hack? I can't believe papers have gotten away with destroying lives for so long. That's why I've signed the petition, set up by Hugh Grant and other phone hacking victims, to demand fair, independent regulation. Join me: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/a-...
A Free Press, Not a Free Pass – It's Time for Fair Regulation
For too long, the UK press have bullied people, harassed grieving families, and destroyed lives, all to sell papers. We’ve all seen the heartbreaking consequences. They’ve hacked phones, listened to ...

The self proclaimed Master Dealmaker (and I’m guessing he thinks that “nobody knows more than him about stocks/shares”) … seems to be having quite a bad time at the moment.
Of course, he’ll try to deflect the blame elsewhere but everyone with brain cells in double figures knows the truth.

I used to think that Trump was the stupidest creature on the planet … obviously he’s not because there are 77.3 million people who voted for him.
What the hell did they think was going to happen???
The world isn’t cowering (like he wants them too) - they’re laughing at the clown 🤡.

Max Hastings in The Times today does one of the best jobs so far of properly chronicling the USA's breakneck descent into fascism. I don't think a single person will be aware of *all* the evidence. (I know about paywalls & the mixed records of all pundits so please don't feel the need to remind me!)

The 3 most powerful individuals on the planet … but who’s the most intelligent/trustworthy??
- Putin/Russia
- Trump/US
- Xi/China
Sadly, the least intelligent/trustworthy is an easy question to answer.

Given that neither the US or Israel are members of the ICC, I think it’s fair that the rest of the world couldn’t care less about mobster Donny and his rantings via Executive Orders.

I don’t agree with everything Rory Stewart has to say but he’s nailed it on Trump.
Apparently Donny telling journalists that a UK deal “could be worked out” … no thanks, we’ll stick with the grownups on this side of the Atlantic.

Trump decides that the US should join the 3 high-flying countries not currently part of the Paris Agreement .. Iran, Libya & Yemen. He’s a climate denying idiot who will happily see his country crash & burn just so him and billionaire mates can make a profit.

Possible answer to the BIG question … who would possibly vote for village idiot Trump?
Of course, aided and abetted by (not all of them) millionaires/billionaires who just can’t satisfy their need for more and more money and power.

Given Trumps age and physical condition there’s every chance this his VP will have to step up at some point in the next 4 years so … where is JD Vance??? Very visible up until the election but now appears to be leaving it entirely to Trump & Musk. BTW I’m not missing him, I was just wondering.

Once again, when the Tories are given an opportunity to show some principled backbone, they refuse to take it. Their craven, Musk-appeasing racism, Tommy-Robinson-themed opportunism and failure to support Jess Phillips are all you need to know about the rancid mess that is Badenoch’s nasty party.

Crybaby Musk will implode (hopefully) when he hears this.
Well done to Starmer for “growing a pair” and saying what needed to be said.
