Essentially, I have no […]

Managed to get #webkitgtk to work with #puregotk. Just needed to add a small tweak since it was mixing up `gio.Byte` with `[]byte`. I think that makes it one of the first full-featured, CGo-free WebView libraries for Go?

A often requested feature was the ability to change brightness on the lockscreen without having to pull down the settings menu. This can be useful in changing ambient conditions when not using automatic brightness. #phosh 0.52 will have a two finger swipe gesture for that:

It's next Thursday already: I've you're in the Cologne / Bonn area on 2025-12-04 and interested in #phosh and #linuxmobile in general join us starting at 18:00 in @datenburg : https://ev.phosh.mobi/blog/get-together-25-11/ .

Looking forward to interesting discussions, demos and some hacking.
The Next Phosh Community Get Togethers (Online and Offline)
We’d like to invite our members as well as everyone interested in Phosh and the activities of Phosh.mobi e.V. to our first online Phosh community get together on 2025-11-18 19:00 CET at https://ev.phosh.mobi/gettogether/ and to our next meeting in the Datenburg at 2025-12-04. ### Why an online meeting? While some of us meet at various conferences the members of our association are distributed over different countries which makes joining in person meetings hard to impossible. An online meeting gives us an opportunity to chat outside of the General Assembly which has a more formal character. It also provides a way for not (yet?) members to get to know us, ask questions and share experiences. If this works out well we intend to schedule this on a regular basis. ### Is there a formal agenda? No, this get together is for you so we might chat about whatever comes up. Daily driving experiences, interesting projects, news from conferences, planning of the next conference booth, …. ### How does it work? Everyone interested joins the big blue button instance. You can just listen in or join the ongoing discussion, with or without having your camera enabled. ### Are there offline meetings too? Yes. We had one last year in the Datenburg and want to repeat that at the same location (Bornheimer Str. 25, 53111 Bonn) on 2025-12-04 starting at 18:00 CET.
