It's pretty big! And they have a lot of the original pages for things. Definitely recommend getting there at opening so you have time to get up and close to them without feeling like you're blocking anyone!

I was his guide, of course, filling in some extra context for things that the exhibit didn't cover. My dad did that for me in art museums my whole life, and it was finally my turn to be the teacher 😅

It's a very well done exhibit, though I was disappointed in their choice of the one Junji Ito they had, no Toriyama, and not a lot of shoujo representation, but it was a diverse. My dad wasn't used to not knowing about a type of art, so instead of 45m, it took an hour and a half to get through!

I feel more embarrassed shutting down a stream early because nothing is coming out right 🫠 I think I've also become too reliant on winging it. I haven't been putting in the work to build my visual library at all, so I don't have many ideas swirling around...

I think the original idea when I was world building was that Zelda became a doctor because she felt like she had to because of her father, and he was also never home with her mom because he was always at work.

Life was so much simpler back in 2002.
