It seems like he’s avoided firing people in his 2nd term.
Not because he doesn’t like firing people, but because he thinks it looks like a personal loss to the public.
So, instead of firing her, he’ll probably shuffle her off to a low level position in some anonymous federal agency.

From the standpoint of “the process is the punishment” this is not a complete defeat for Trump and his co-conspirators, since there’s some possibility at some point that Comey and James could be re-indicted, so the process (i.e., the punishment) continues.

What always amazed me about that tweet was that Lindsey Graham, as much of an obsequious weasel as he was/is, never deleted it, at least during Trump’s first administration. It may still be up for all I know.

Treating this man seriously is a gross disservice to your readers (I.e., sanewashing).
He is intellectually and morally incapable of carrying out the role to which he has been appointed.
