I'm a teacher, a Spurs (THFC) season ticket holder. I cook, garden, read several books every week, love music, my husband and two border collies who are just about as crazy as I am.
Without doubt. He has always been both dignified and committed!

Sonny has remained classy to the end. He leaves with his head held high and an adoring fan base.

Pleased to see it in the Park Lane. Terrible decision to move it.

Probably both.

I, like you, don't really like sourdough. I find the NYT no-knead recipe is so much more enjoyable. For me, the important thing is eliminating all Chorleywood process bread and replacing it with hand made or bread machine loaves.

Living wages should never be quibbled over. Any company, whatever its size, should budget properly, including staff costs. If a business can't pay the people whose labour brings in the revenue, then it should be dissolved.

You should have heard the cheer on the spurs stadium when it finally went in! We yelled and cheered as loudly as you all did!

I was shocked to find out Mickey was MOM TBH. Those boys done good! It's such a rare treat to have something to smile about!🤍💙🤍💙

Agreed. I am gob smacked at how quickly the 'fans' turn on our players. It breaks my heart. Looking forward to Tuesday now.

Those cheers in the ground were wonderful, both the one for Villa and the later ones for our two goals. Xavi has shown us all what he can do, now he needs to do it more regularly. (Nothing like heaping pressure on a youngster’s shoulders!)

They've massive ramped up prices and reduced choice. Year 1, beer and a pie for £4.99, year 2, beer only£4.99, by last year, there was still a choice of 4-5 beers ranging from £5.50 to £6.25. Now the only beers they sell are Madri £6.95 and Neck Oil £7.35. The Neck Oil is disgusting.

TBH you can tell things are not good when you're in the bar before KO. Last season there were queues at the bar from about half an hour after it opened, now you can walk straight up to the bar at any time except HT.

I truly hope you are right. I've only seen us win once this season, so I'm hoping that Saturday will break the hoodoo.

I, too, have the lurgy. Add a sore throat and coughing as though I have a 40 ciggies a day habit and I'm there! I have the added 'bonus' of no sick pay.
December 3, 2025 at 2:28 PM
I wish you luck. The first time I did it, my sister 'offended' my then in-laws by saying she didn't know how anyone could live without a dishwasher. In-laws upped and left halfway through the meal. Go figure!

I am looking forward to the day that they are taxed much more highly. Though given JLRs status I doubt any UK govt has the balls to do it. You can just see the 'You're going to kill our brand!' brigade. Hey, here's an idea JLR why not think of the planet and start making smaller, more useful cars?

We have 3 friends at the game...and 2 of them were at the cup game there that we lost a few weeks back. (Yes, they live in London.) They are dedicated (or gluttons for punishment).

One of my musical idols. Saw both Orange Juice and him solo many times. Some of my live photos of him appeared on his website for a while (without consent) pbase.com/lindarocks/e...

I've gone for a change from match shirt as compulsory when we play, to a tee with 'the game is about glory' and a cockerel, different Spurs related mugs (not 'lucky' ones) -like you, I'm desperate enough to try anything!
December 2, 2025 at 4:56 PM
My husband is not keen on going. I have persuaded him though!
December 1, 2025 at 12:22 PM
I am depressed about yesterday, no doubt. Fans booing players sickens me.
November 30, 2025 at 4:05 PM
Agree. He knew he’d f-ed up, the booing served no purpose and turned the stadium toxic.
November 30, 2025 at 7:29 AM
That is one hell of an accolade for Sonny.
November 29, 2025 at 7:28 AM
Likewise!
