ok lololol yeah that’s def where the disagreement is here, the mainstream talking point has become “bluesky does for the left what twitter now does for the right” and it just…. doesn’t seem good at doing that.

oh yeah, i’m not doubting that this website can in fact be easily curated to a pleasant user experience, but there are plenty of websites where that’s true. given that BS is now often pitched specifically as a political alternative to twitter, i’m here to see whether it’s good at doing that.

this app is not good actually so it’s much more interesting to occasionally check how the algorithm works than to come here for content?
