Obviously, this is because *I* have PDA Autism and it's beyond me to understand the way non-Autistic people think and function, but I still love that about him even if I'm not keen on assigning mental health & ND labels to any of my OCs!

He would choose to gesture over speaking as he sees that as being "more economical", he often doesn't understand other's emotional reactions and doesn't even *want* to at times, he becomes hyperfixated on things and it controls his life, etc etc etc. there are many reasons it fits.
