In honor of Veterans Day, my dad's 20 years of USAF service, including 2 years in Japan, 2 years in Panama, & 6 year-long deployments to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, & Thailand, and his death on Veterans Day more than 20 years ago, here is my dad at 22, just before I was born (he enlisted at 17).

Cops are right to assume men are the aggressors because statistically speaking, men are more likely to be the perpetrators in CV cases. You, however, want to say 15% of women are "quick to exploit the system" so you can blame women. And you think we don't see that.

I get it. This was the view from my balcony, and I used to just sit outside near the shore of this bay and watch dolphins and occasionally tarpon. No waves, really, just slight splashing. It's pretty shallow so you can wade a good distance.

Makes sense. Here is a picture of La Paz (Balandra Bay) from my birthday a couple of weeks ago. We rented a local little boat where the guy didn't speak any English, but his first mate used Google translate to talk to us. It was a good break from the insanity of the U.S.

I donate online for school lunch debt & their Amazon kids' wish lists. Mine has a list for holidays & I try to do 5-10 each time. I donate cash for meat. I still remember when I needed a food bank so pay it forward now that I longer tithe to church. It's a better use of discretionary funds for me.

It definitely holds up. My mother had a sofa for 40+ YEARS from Thomasville (purchased in 1975). She actually thought I wanted that thing. Here's a pic from 1985 w my mother and my first 2 kids. It looked the same as it did in 2022 when I moved her to WA.

I use this $10 one. It folds for storage but stays in place when worn. Long walks or downhill hurts the torn meniscus. I have walked 15 miles wearing it, pretty pain free.

She then called to say as a millennial, she was sorry that I did not have the benefit of actually making this choice for myself but she was happy I taught her she had real world options. She is thrilled I am living and not just surviving now.
