If you see this, QTP with your Top Legend of Zelda games.

The 3DS was insanely good for Zelda.

Happy to find out saying "I love you" and attending a college party 10 years ago makes me cool now.

#290: Transporter 2

This is Jason Statham's servant origin story for when he shows up in the Fate/Stay Night cinematic universe. This movie is so yellow-tinted that every actor looks like an Altmer. Jason Statham dodge-rolls a plane crash in this movie.

#289: The Last Mimzy

"What if Tohno Shiki was a 5th grader?"

Every single scene of this movie feels like the scene that happens right before a brutal massacre happens in a horror movie. I think this movie is what happened to Meteion in Endwalker.

Woah that looks great! I was able to get this one last night, but yours turned out so much brighter!

Got Akebono in my first 10 pull! I've finally been redeemed for spending $[REDACTED] on Doto.

#287: Ayaka is Dead

This one feels simultaneously like a better, more complete version of Churip but also just padded out to twice the length without adding too much.

But it's ghost girl yuri, so I can't say anything too bad about it.

#286: Landomayzer

I am generally pretty forgiving of these Lu games. They all have a level of jank to them, but he's made some really good stuff. Unfortunately, this is maybe his worst game so far.

I'm sorry, but giant featureless mazes and empty voids that randomly teleport you aren't fun.

#285: Crash and Burn

Robot Jox was a pretty fun movie with nice miniature work and giant robot battles. This is, supposedly, a sequel to Robot Jox, but is mostly a generic post-apocalyptic movie. The closest we come to robot combat is one model robot gently wiggling in the sand.

#284: Last Action Hero

I desperately need the Jack Slayter movies to be real, I have to watch them. This is America's Cinema Paradiso, a movie drowning in its own love of movies. This is Arnold Schwarzenegger's Inland Empire.

#282: Bullets Over Summer

The movie that best captures the feeling of doing as many sidestories in a Yakuza game as you can before getting back to the main plot. Its pretty impressive that this manages to merge all of its goofy sideplot stuff cohesively with the main story.

#281: Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage - Platinum

Basically just a tech demo for KH3. I wish I lived in the world where this was a full sequel to Birth by Sleep; I really think Aqua's story deserved better. It's fine, just nothing special.

#280: Future Force

Does it still count as copaganda if the cops are cyborg biker gangs?

David Carradine keeps a gamer twink in his basement and makes him write code all day in this movie.

#279: Jack-O

This feels like a lost Disney Channel Original Movie, but then it'll have a fully nude shower scene and gore. Confusing tone aside, there are some fun kills in this.

#278: The Last Light

"What if The CW made an Alan Wake prestige TV show?"

This movie is entirely people whispering in rooms, but I don't think I'd have liked it any better if I could hear anyone.

Every once in a while my Youtube recommended videos gives me a glance into what I call "boomer Youtube" where it's younger people listening to old music, playing old games, or watching old movies and being absolutely amazed.

#277: Battlefield Baseball

"Love of baseball goes beyond good and evil"

The only media to ever make me excited to watch baseball, and all it took was a guy learning to throw a rasengan.

#276: Hello, Melancholic!

A yuri about a really tall, socially awkward girl with zero self confidence; so this was basically made for me.

I enjoyed this a lot, I just wish the main romance got some more focus because I sort of think the side characters stole the show in the end.

#275: Food for the Soul

Finally, a cooking anime that isn't Food Wars. Unlike Food Wars, this is less focused on recipes and cooking than it is about food bringing people together.

I enjoyed it a lot! I just wish it took more time with the food; a lot of cooking scenes felt rushed.

#274: Noir

This captures the feeling of a French noir film really well, but with anime assassins and some doomed yuri sprinkled in. I really enjoyed this. The background art and soundtrack are also great, and I've added the ED song to my regular Playlist.

#273: Kindergarten Cop

The movie where Arnold Schwarzenegger meets Benny from Fallout New Vegas.

Unfortunate casual homophobia aside, this was fun. It's at its best when it focused on him just being a teacher and the kids. The cop stuff could almost be cut from the movie entirely.
