It could incentivize job seekers to write more thoughtfully (instead of having a generative AI to do it more them), and incentivize job posters to consider applicants more thoughtfully (instead of just ghosting them...

in light of dei bans, assault on free speech, and limitations of protest, this certainly doesn’t feel supportive of students. (and as a former student org treasurer, I can tell you that chalking was the cheapest way to prove you were promoting an event in order to secure funding from the university)

if you ever attended osu, you’ll know that chalking has long been a common way for students to communicate with each other, whether to say “good luck with finals week” or to promote a student org event or to express protest. the timing of this is suspicious
