Yes, but only 11 years after the fact because his department has had its funding slashed over the decades.

Go back and show how each small feature could've saved a life.

Backflow prevention not installed, contractor instals bdrm door to swing outward, inspector who didn't note unit was lowest point in system, egress windows w/o wells.

End highlighting how the father's MAN WIPES caused the fatal backup.

Because only one side of the river is mostly apartments that include liability for flushing stuff down plumbing in leases :P

"Writ in Blood"

"Ways to Die" episodic thing, with double-feature finales on stuff like "Family dies by turdnami in basement aptmt; improperly installed egress windows."

Highlight the youngest nearly escaping, unable to shove through the overflowing wheeliebins blocking the only functional window.

My city just upgraded the sewer trunk systems after 89 years on my side of the city. Swapped 50cm ID for 2.2m ID.

This is because the wastewater techs said this side, the one with more SFHs, generates tenfold as much "compacting waste" per capita and we're set to grow ~100% by 2040...

Because $9.18 on two pastries is a crime

...what if, say, someone has an order for a kigu and wants to pay for magnets to be added in the box? (Up next: Polypore Infected Furries)
November 20, 2025 at 3:08 AM
The social acceptability of it is a big part of what makes it so fucking problematic

Those better be the best tacos ever, lol
November 19, 2025 at 7:39 PM
Holy shit, I did not see that sign, else I'd have memed on that, haha.
November 19, 2025 at 7:37 PM
Wait wait wait. You do Turkey Tail fridge magnets?
November 19, 2025 at 7:32 PM
It's a great example of small design/distribution businesses being directly harmed by idiotic policymaking.

If it's any consolation, Canadians still can't order PretendAgain stuff ATM (guessing because I asked them to use tariff drawbacks for non-US orders, because I don't wanna pay Amerícan idiot taxes, so they're presumably waiting for a US drawback account approval.)

Rare Canadian Cub W, though.

Now if only I could get the mailing list email to appear for me :P
November 19, 2025 at 6:56 PM
Okay, have to check if my domain is blocking it then; signed up to get such a code, but never got anything :P
November 19, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Did these go out yet? Unsure if my personal domain is the issue or if it's just a slow rollout.
November 19, 2025 at 6:25 PM
Did they ever actually order that Apoxon poncho? (Never seen them wear it, but it reeked of potential floofy attire.)
November 19, 2025 at 6:20 PM
Look, I appreciate insects, too!
November 19, 2025 at 5:58 PM
The mild irony of referring to it as an aubergine, a word of unmistakably French origin¹, in this context is not missed on me :P

¹The Brits do use the term, too. See also: Courgette.
November 19, 2025 at 5:58 PM
Probably some kinda butterfly or other creature they opted to learn everything about :P
November 19, 2025 at 5:52 PM
Oh, heck.

Well, we'll just say the stealth debuff is because they REALLY wanna show you their favourite thing at the moment :P
November 19, 2025 at 5:46 PM
Stripes give good camo, but they rustle more than your average cat
