Yeah that's part of what ours passed from. Still absolutely no idea what she ate. She never ate anything in the house that we could see besides cat litter but soon as we found that out she lost access to it. She already had a bunch of health issues and was pretty old as well.

I solved most of my problems by muzzling mine and hooking her up to the golden retriever I walk. Can't really fight if the other dog is tired of your shit and dragging you 😭 (she got over it pretty quickly and we had the easiest walk of my life)

Heavily recommend bright colored muzzles. We did neon pink and blue. It gets the point across way faster and depending on the muzzle can also prevent the scavenging

Mine got muzzled because as old and chunky as she was, she would usually win. And even tho she was completely under control and we stayed in on leash areas and I was very careful with passing dogs people don't understand the phrase "She is not friendly!" or "She doesn't want to meet your dog" 🤦
