When I saw Ragtime was going to be playing while we were in Massachusetts, I knew I had to take a day trip to NYC to see it. It was absolutely incredible, phenomenal, I don’t even know. Joshua Henry’s voice is not of this world, I swear. Go see this show if you can!

great time at the Connecticut Science Center today! E got to be in his happy place - the roller coaster making area. best part was after he made his coaster, kids continued to play w/ it while we did other things in the same area. He was SO happy & proud to have a coaster people liked to “ride” ❤️4/4

Went for a walk by the Skokie Lagoons today. So beautiful all frozen over! And I saw two deer running and leaping through the snow (I tried to take a picture but it’s not great) which was awesome.

Look at these cutie dark-eyed juncos by my feeder. I usually don’t get them by my feeder, but I’ve seen these three for the last few weeks. I haven’t been able to get a picture until now.

Yet again, I am incredibly jealous of Penny, since this was her as I left to go to work in 18° weather. I like my job and dont mind going to work, but….. i want to be laying on the couch in a pile of blankets and pillows!

I’ve been seeing posts for the past few days from various Chicago area birding groups that there have been two snowy owls at the pier by the Montrose Bird Sanctuary. It’s rare to have them this far south so it’s exciting. I ended up with some time this afternoon and went down there. I love them.
