What's the point of running a comics shop if you can't get yourself a beautiful book every now and again? I've been reading the Martini edition of the Darwyn Cooke Parker stories. Oh boy. Some of the best comics I've ever read. Horrible, but beautiful.

I had an idea a while ago to ask some of my favourite artists to draw something for us, the only requirement was that it had a lighthouse somewhere.

Every so often I pull a book out of a box and go "oh wow". Today that was Yokai by Shigeru Mizuki. Descriptions of Japanese folklore from one of the all time manga greats. ♥️♥️♥️
