This is real. Our govt is Tweeting like a 14 year old and calling Americans imbecilic morons. We worry about children being bullied but this is the example set by the U.S. GOVERNMENT. This is so shameful. I’m embarrassed for any of you that think this is okay or make excuses for it.

I got my $1 and my apology. I met falsehood with resolve, and I claimed my own voice by defending it.

To those who think you could’ve handled my situation better, don’t hand me another opinion. Hand me your work. I accepted $1/apology because someone needed to break the cycle of retaliation. I won’t promote pain to prove a point. That’s not weakness. That’s choosing the long path toward justice. 1/3

I was raised on sermons of love. “Love thy neighbor” wasn’t just a verse. It was a promise, but when I lived it, the voices got quiet and the hands turned away. It’s heartbreak when the lesson means more to you than those who taught it. That’s why people turn away from Christianity: the hypocrisy.
