The US occupies an utterly unique position among the OECD countries, when it comes to the domestic use of state violence. However, it's striking that #police in Canada's police, with their record of racism and colonial enforcement, comfortably takes the second spot.

A father was getting his kids out of the neighborhood because it was unsafe & ICE threw flash bangs & tear gas at his car with children & a baby inside!

Gentleman on the scene who talked to this Dad said that he asked ICE officers if he could vacate his family and they said that's fine. He loaded up the car and as soon as he put it in drive, they lit the car up with flashbangs and tear gas. The 6mo old stopped breathing and EMS had to be sent in

So RCMP intercepted a group of illegal immigrants including kids in Quebec coming from the US in freezing temperatures. Ya know the first thing we did? Take them to the hospital. Not brutally assault them & send them to El Salvadore! They r seeking asylum & will go thru the PROCESS, unharmed!

Everyone should read Silent Spring! Important information that alerted the public to the danger and damage of pesticides in the early 1960s presented by a gifted writer. I should reread it!
It may be a good time to read this book too, for some background. Agent Orange was secretly sprayed on seedlings in pine tree plantations during the 50s.
