like. don't get me wrong, being canon compliant is a fun approach! and works really well for a lot of characters. but that's the thing. it's *compliant*. it's still a derivative. so no matter how close to canon you're sticking, you've still got some form of an oc and that's a good thing :)

but ok she actually also uses it for normal purposes, it came in handy in shadowbringers & endwalker obviously. also she's probably going to spend hella time in the water in tural; she's always loved to swim in the sea growing up in kugane so.
