Did you try sled dog booties? They're the only ones that stay on my dog as they use elastic velcro at the cuff. My dog despises her feet being touched and doesn't mind them.

I think so. Even when she's not listening to me I am calling her friend :D
Also technically the h after the c makes the ch sound like its coming from the back of your throat more. But its quite subtle, and still more similar to car than char
