Can't think of any conceivable reason for the DOJ to need those voter rolls except to share the information with the Trump administration. Every state has rules in place to verify voter ID and eligibility. The Republicans have someone sitting in prison for tampering with voting machines what's next

Voting for the rich guy has been a theme for most if not all of Trump's cabinet nominations. And not knowing anything about what you've been nominated for is also familiar. But do we really need to act like this guy has something to offer because he took two joy rides in a space ship.

Trump doesn't feel the need to consult with Congress over the name change. He owns them and he's the chairman of the board for the center and appointed all the board members, so it sounds like a done deal.

Carr never answered the question about why the FCC was investigating every broadcast network except Fox News or whether he thought it was appropriate to use his position to call for the removal of Jimmy Kimmel. The hypocrisy with this guy is something else. He's definitely Trump's guy.

Short of landing American military troops on the ground in Venezuela Maduro isn't going to budge. Otherwise their military would have to revolt and Maduro has a good handle on the military.

How about we leave the name of the Kennedy Center alone. If Trump wants to add his name to something how about the "Trump Rikers Island Correctional Facility". I'm sure that a lot of people could get behind that name.

So basically Trump was spouting more BS about drug prices. Lutnick didn't make himself look too good trying to explain what the clown was saying. Not clear on the math either.

That sounds pretty clear that the loss of affordable health care will result in more people being uninsured, leading to a health care crisis down the road when there's a lack of preventative care.

Trump's advisors convinced him that he needed to get in front of the public and tell them how good things are going, and that things are going to get better. Kind of loses something when you have to yell at the camera. Comes across as angry and insecure.

I think that maybe the Democrats need a regime change, because what they have done of late doesn't instill a lot of confidence that things are going to change.

Just a quick question I'm not clear on. Hegseth says he won't show the video of the second strike on the boat because it's "Top Secret". They must have shown at least twenty videos of the first strikes on those boats, but it's okay to show those to the general public. So how does that work?

It's actions like withholding necessary forms of treatment for seniors by the insurance companies that are responsible for their deaths. It comes from a lack of understanding of need versus costs, where the overriding factor for the insurance companies is cost savings.

Happiness and companionship would be a worthwhile goal for AI if that was all it offered. Unfortunately it's developers haven't been able to put restrictions on everything it offers.

Not the same thing, but there needs to be guardrails on Chat GPT and similar programs. Something that the developers need to spend more time addressing.
