After the ridiculous penalty they gave him in the last race, I was ready to be furious.

If it helps, I once had my hero and heroine in the middle of such a scene when it dawned on me my hero was bracing her wrists against the wall with both hands at the same time as he was exploring areas south of her bellybutton with his fingers.

Umm...when the hell did he grow a THIRD ARM and HAND?

I'm trying to come up with something witty and sarcastic in response to the fragile men, but all I have is red, burning rage.

Another scene that is constantly quoted in our house:

Mr. Furious: Hold on a second - Captain, exactly how many toggle flips in toto are involved in this procedure?
Captain Amazing: [Flustered] I just - I - Seven!
Mr. Furious: [Incredulous] Seven?!
Captain Amazing: [A little hysterical] Flip it!!

Very much so. It was, I think, ahead of its time and therefore not appreciated for its brilliance. But it has so much more satirical bite now, which only elevates it more!

I 100% agree with you! When we introduced our Gen Z daughters to it, they freaking loved it as well. It's an often-quoted film in our house.

(Especially the below from both daughters)
a woman in a red dress is saying pms avenger i only work four days a month got a problem with that

Weirdly, in Australia, the tagline for this movie was "Ding Dong. You're Dead" which I think is infinitely better.
