oh original MGS is definitely interesting as a first time experience nowadays!
It still holds up imo, but you can tell it did a LOT that was new at the time which makes it all the more impressive

as someone who loved the originals Veilguard feels like someone wanted to make a Marvel movie set in the DragonAge universe...
To me it has almost nothing to do with the original's storytelling and themes and feels like a classic modern take on an IP. Tbf I'm very cynical regarding that kinda stuff
