Final session of the term, glazed the plates (pic is pre-glaze) and made this chonky bottle whilst practicing throwing bigger things again
Break for 2 weeks now then we’ll be back to your regularly scheduled pottery content 😌

Practiced throwing some bigger things today, and played around with shaping bcos I’ve only really ever made cylinders and bowls. Also mug came back from glaze firing - kinda in love with it

Missed the last 2 weeks because I was on holiday 🏝️ Forgot to take pictures this week but I glazed a mug and tidied up the plates. Also got this bowl back from the kiln but the glaze has gone patchy ☹️

Finally sent the soap dish for a bisque firing then glazed some mugs & a bowl today

Trimmed the bowl and put some handles on the cylinders yesterday but forgot to take a pic 🙄 Then started on this dish/tray thing for the kitchen to put our soap/washing up liquid bottles in. I rarely do hand building but it was quite fun

Pet peeve: shopping websites that don't let you enter your own price range, but rather decide arbitrary ranges for you and have you select them. I want products that are up to £30, not £50 😒
