Epiphone Thunderbird!

They’re extremely impractical instruments for most ppl (especially beginners), but I adore thunderbirds.

Mine was around $300 used, came with a case too.

I’d prefer a Gibson Thunderbird, but those are like… $2,500

Epiphone is Gibson’s budget-friendly brand.

Also u can get an amp with a headphone jack, or an audio interface for your pc, and plug in headphones, and then you can play thru your amp without bothering anyone.

Yes. Agreed. Bass is the hottest instrument.

Fun thing about the apartment thing. You can get a half decent squier P-bass for like $200, and if you don’t plug it into an amp (which I often don’t when I’m practicing) bass guitar is pretty much the quietest instrument out there.
