I think a more apathetic character like Kim with stretchy powers is an interesting idea. Cuts through teh always cheerful mold that gets tossed around.

Oh, you guys mentioned HW Computers in the show, and I was reminded of a place that existed where I grew up like that. I didn't exist when this store was a thing, but it was a good reference for me. This was on El Toro Road in Lake Forest just down the five freeway.

I'm not anymore, but I miss it terribly. I grew up in south Orange County in the El Toro / Mission Viejo area in the 90s and now I'm trying to write comics there -- the current one is about a kid in the 80s trying to program a video game as she learns to surf when high school is ending.

I'm reminded of how 2003's Virtua Fighter 4 EVO had a mode where you could train an AI to fight for you with basic GOOD and BAD commands when they jabbed. The AI always sucked and gave me a constant feeling of wanting to shove the AI aside and take over.

AI anything never sat well with me.
